“One last day with your beloved, which day would you choose?”
*grumbles, not jealous at all*Don’t be. I love you, too, you know.
But you loved her more. You always chose companions over me.
I… Well, I never meant to. And Rose Tyler…
Well.
Rose.
It’s complicated.
Look. You were my first friend. When everybody overlooked me, or thought I was too radical, or different, or anything else they said about me, you were there.
You honestly can’t think… whatever you seem to think.

((Welcome back!))
((Thank you! I realize I left right when I said I was up for prose with you, if you’d like to toss together an idea I’m up for anything <3))
My baking fun for today <3
Posed before the TARDIS’ console, watching the blip on his screen relocate, he remembers. Setting his vessel to tail after the expeditious target, The Doctor remembers; he recalls the very instant with precise clarity, the shock. A casual cruise through the local cluster, nothing new. He had tired of sitting about, waiting for a man preoccupied with employment, so off he’d go in the TARDIS, ought to provide a lick to his boredom. In orbit about Luna, that’s when he’d felt it. A warmth welling suddenly in his chest, the purr of the TARDIS vibrating throughout his body, crying out *it’s her. she’s here. she is here*, familiar presence conquering senses…the Time Lord’s mind echoed every memory of her, Rose. That was the moment he had destination, making course to a ghost.
Leaning forward and resting a hand on either side of the console, The Doctor hangs his head, eyes closing lithely while his mind stampedes down a thousand paths, possibilities, technicalities, regiments, chances. Every fragment of this old Gallifreyan wants desperately to believe he’ll find her, his Bad Wolf, smiling like she always did when she saw him; it’d be regular ole “Well, where’ve you been, Doctor?” and no Daleks or Davros’ or parallel worlds or anything rotten. It was preposterous, impossible. But bloody hell did he want it. Even just to see her…that’d be enough. Drawn from the depths of his selfish thoughts by the TARDIS, The Doctor is out the door before her last syllable enters his mind.
Bolting from his phone box he skids to a halt some steps in; he hadn’t cared where they’d landed, where he’d been led. The beauty of the environment remained unnoticed by his ancient eyes, for they sought but one vision. Mouth agape, panting lightly, The Doctor turns about frantically looking for anything, any trace…sight the only sense unblinded by trepidation, he stands handicapped by his own emotions, muttering under his breath of that which he seeks.
”Rose…“
She waited patiently in the shadows, anticipation and anxiousness flooded into her system. The blonde could also feel a building up in her Time Capsule, she was curious too; Rose could feel it through the link in her mind. Her heart nearly stopped when she heard the familiar sound, the vworp of a TARDIS; but it was not her Capsule making the noise but another. There was only one person - only one Time Lord that it could be. Was that what her TARDIS meant- that the Doctor had finally found her? Rose hadn’t encountered him since her return, he didn’t know what had happened to her on Satellite Five. A part of her didn’t want him to know, she knew he would blame himself - he had no clue that particles of the Time Vortex had attached to her, wiring into her nervous system. Rose knew in her heart that the Doctor would put that heavy blame on himself and she did not want to see that happen; though she could not just let this moment pass.
Swallowing the sudden nervousness in her throat, Rose stepped out from the protection of darkness - she no longer needed it. Now in full view, she could see him. He wore the same face as before; though he would have been her Doctor always, no matter what he looked like. He hasn’t noticed her yet, too preoccupied with looking in the other direction. Mind askew, breath hitched in her throat, the blonde finally found a small voice to speak and make herself known.
“Doctor..” she watched as he spun around, hands through his unruly brown hair. Emotions whirled through Rose in every which direction. Ever since her return, the thought of meeting him once again ran through her mind but never had she expected it to come so soon. Without waiting to get a reaction from him Rose ran towards him, closing the short distance between them to embrace him within her arms. “It’s me, s’really me..” Her voice was soft as tears formed in her eyes, a saltwater indication to just how overwhelmed she was in this moment.

95% of tumblr users have forgotten where this is from. Reblog if you haven’t. If you are one of the tiny amount of people who know what this is.
It’s obvious to me.
Recognised straight away.
I’m part of the awesome 5% who know where this is from! Yayy meee!!!! ^_^

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
-Runs over to the TARDIS controls, frantically dashing about it, flipping levers and switches as he goes. Grips the console as the TARDIS starts up, a huge grin on his face as he starts to laugh.-
Surprise us, old girl!
-Flips on the music control, spinning around on his heel to face Rose as he sways to the music with animated hand gestures, grinning all the while.-
Still enjoy dancing? I even have some new moves!
Great!
-starts laughing with him- Oh I can’t wait to see where she takes us! -she raises a brow- Oh you’ve learned more? Well then -

((ooc; it’s late, well early actually and I’m about to run off to bed. I’d love to continue this tomorrow if you do! Night <3))
-Leans in, quirking an eyebrow and grinning slyly.- Anywhere, any when you want to go, my dear Rose. It’s all up to you this time.
So.
Where does Rose Tyler want to go?
-Rose looks right back at him, with a small grin of her own- How about somewhere beautiful that we’ve never been before? I think the TARDIS could find a place for us.

I’d go anywhere but havin’ you beside me again just makes it so much better.
That’s brilliant, absolutely brilliant!
You know, the TARDIS hasn’t been quite the same without you. What do you say? Go at it again for old time’s sake? Seeing the stars and the universe?
Really?

Oh I would love that, more than you can imagine! -she jumped up excitedly, almost instinctively grabbing hold of his hand- All of Time and Space, where should we go?
Oh, clever girl!
How did you manage to get yourself out of that one?
((OOC: Okie dokie! Thank you. 8’3 ))

Well- oh you’ll love this Doctor! You’ll think I’m oh so brilliant.
Over in the parallel word we found these things called white holes- complete opposites of black holes. Then, I remembered you tellin’ me how Time Lords created black holes. Thought maybe they were connected and they were! Turns out things that fall out of a white hole are soaked in void stuff, sucked into black holes from different universes!
So I went for a trip, right into a black hole and here I am!
Blimey! I bet she’s quite the beauty!
So it’s safe to say you’ve been doing as well as you look?
She’s gorgeous! You’ll have to see her, she would just love it.

Yeah, I’m doin’ good.
Lot better than on that parallel world, glad I managed to get back over here.
Probably would ‘ave gone mad if I was really stuck there.
((ooc; Yep! My rose is back from the parallel world, you can read how here if you’d like. or unless the doctor just asks her how hahaa))
Are you well? Blimey, tell me you’ve been well!
((OOC: Let’s just pretend that’s him and Rose.))
Oh I’ve been amazing!
It’s wonderful to see you again, oh how I’ve missed you!

This is so great!
I’ve been wondering when I’d run into you, I’ve got a TARDIS all my own now.
Remember that bit you gave me and the human Doctor on the beach?
She’s all grown up now, and gosh is she beautiful!
